First
launched in 2005, Most Favorable Hong Kong Brands (the ¡§Campaign¡¨)
has been hosting annually. Since its insertion, the Campaign
has been winning the popularity among consumers and growing
its number of categories, participating brands, supporting organizations,
media and most importantly, number of votes contributed by the
consumers. Currently, the Campaign covers the election of brands
in 19 categories including cosmetics retailing, beauty and slimming
services, property-related businesses, department stores and
shopping malls, supermarket and convenience stores, integrated
entertainment services, restaurants, travel agents, healthy
products, beverages, foods, etc. Detailed categorization demonstrated
our attentiveness to the needs of brand managers.
In
terms of voting channels, the Campaign allows consumers of
the country to vote in person in over 5,000 outlets across
the region. It also provide other convenient media such as
online portals, SMS voting platform, voting forms in newspapers
and magazines to facilitate the number of votes. To date,
more than 1 million votes clearly identify consumers¡¦ preference
on the brands being short-listed every year.
Each year, the organizers will count and calculate
the votes from different channel to find out the winners of
individual categories. In general, votes counting will be
conducted in February every year, results announcement and
award presentation will be host in March/April and June respectively. |
