Mark the Official Launch of 2008 Most Favorable Brands Campaign
 

(8 October 2007, Hong Kong) Officiated by CERCAO, the event presentation of the 2008 Most Favorable Brands Voting Campaign was recently held at the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong. During the presentation, representatives from the joint organizers and CERCAO gave out details about the categorization, criteria of nomination, timeline and joint promotion proposals to the attendees, concluded by questions and answers.

Dr. Shariff Luk, representative of PolyU, said, ¡§Mechanism is the key element of the Most Favorable Brands Voting Campaign, with the involvement of the consumers in the Greater China Region, the Campaign helps provide objective results to assist the participating brands to strengthen the market status of the brands and corporations, ultimately improve the awareness, reputation, credibility and customer loyalty of those brands.

To date, heavyweight brands such as China Life, China Mobile were already nominated in the beginning of the nomination period. According to the spokesperson of China Life, Hong Kong is not only the special administrative region of the PRC, but also the financial hub and trading center of the globe. China Mobile also wishes to further promote its brand awareness in both consumer and corporate levels, especially during the period of 2008 Beijing Olympics. Other brands being nominated are: Bank of Communications, Air China, MTRC, Hong Kong Jockey Club, Sa Sa Cosmetics, Hong Kong Properties, Ricacorp, Hong Kong China Travel Services, Luk Fook, APM, New Town Plaza, Times Square, etc..

According to David Chen, spokesperson of CERCAO, 2008 Most Favorable Brands Voting Campaign will be divided into 2 parts, namely the most favorable Hong Kong brands and Most Favorable Enterprise with Good Credibility. The Campaign will accept consumers¡¦vote during December 2007 and January 2008 via a network of over 5,000 retailing outlets of the participating merchants, customs, internet portals and printed voting forms on newspapers.
